This was the first model I made to scale based upon an existing design. It is the house from We Bare Bears, which is an animated series created by Daniel Chong for Cartoon Network.

Feedback for the ModelThe day I completed the model, I posted the images on Social Media. It was retweeted by the creator of the show and was well received by the community of We Bare Bears' followers.

Once the structure was complete, I painted the the rocks with acrylic and started making the grass. The grass is made up of very fine sawdust painted in different colours, as shown in Image 6.
I then made the window and door frames out of paper-mache and cardboard. The door features a bead as the handle and a bit of painted sponge as the doormat. |
Patio Chair: Metal wire, an eraser for the armrest and a plastic wrapper. / Mug: Paper. / Tyre: An eraser. / Plastic Bowl: An eraser and super glue for the water. / Basketball: An eraser. / Tree: Wire covered in paper-mache and sponge scourer for foliage. / Basketball Hoop: Cardboard, painted wire and lace for the net. / Satellite Dish: Paper-Mache. / Hosepipe: An eraser and the coating from garden wire. / Weight: Metal wire and an eraser. / Bins: Polystyrene coated in PVA glue and acrylic. Plant Pot: An eraser for the pot, sponge for the soil and cardboard.
